Requirements

  • 10+ Years experience, including experience working on manufacturing sites within an operations team
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Technical Discipline
  • Engineering responsibility across multiple sites
  • Experience managing maintenance programs

Responsibilities

  • Set and maintain reliability standards and expectations across network sites, including KPIs, improvement actions, and achievement strategies
  • Spend extensive time at sites working with reliability & maintenance managers to build community and drive KPIs
  • Serve as executive sponsor for PM pillar, understand best practice PM, and make connections across sites and with TPM CoE
  • Manage metrics reporting (e.g., scorecard) and other reporting across the operating unit, compare metrics to identify trends and execute improvements
  • Manage assets per standards (own roadmap), align with central team, develop asset strategy with useful life including 5-10 year asset plan
  • Lead development of annual asset downtime plans and budget for reliability and maintenance
  • Act as capital engineering leader for Operating Unit (excluding Megacaps), with ultimate accountability for delivering capital projects on time, on budget, including cost, scope, schedule, escalations, and ROI assessment
  • Own capital execution, not just portfolio management
  • Effectively manage the operating unit’s capital budget and CAR process
  • Own the CRB and TBR process for the operating unit in compliance with central team processes, participate in every CRB and TRB
  • Partner with site capital managers on business case and value engineering for all projects
  • Establish career development roadmap for operating unit engineering team, including engineer rotation across sites/roles to grow network capabilities
  • Handle roadblock removal and escalation resolution on all capital projects, establish capital scorecard and escalation process for operating unit
  • Promote cross-functional collaboration of Regional Engineering team with functions like Indirect procurement, SHE & Process Safety, Sustainability, TPM, Finance, Process Engineering to capture requirements and E2E Supply Chain impacts
  • Direct capital responsibility for $5M - $20M / year
