Requirements

Candidates should possess at least 6 years of experience in software integration, troubleshooting, and application administration of complex computer systems, including 3rd party software integration. They must have expertise in Red Hat Linux and Windows administration, virtualization technologies such as VMware and VirtualBox, and scripting languages including BASH, Perl, Python, Ruby, and PowerShell. Strong knowledge of networking concepts including IPv4, IPv6, TCP/UDP, and Cisco iOS is required, along with experience with build and packaging tools like Apache ANT, Jenkins, Maven, and RPM. Furthermore, candidates must be proficient in programming languages such as C++, Java, and database concepts including Oracle, PostgreSQL, and SQL Server.

Responsibilities

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will engineer, deploy, integrate, test, and configure Free and Open Source Software (FOSS), Commercial-off-the-Shelf (COTS), Government-off-the-Shelf (GOTS), and custom software, and be responsible for system design, development, architecture, and integration. You will conduct technical analysis of complex infrastructure and integration challenges, report findings to stakeholders, and provide input to design and development teams while monitoring progress and productivity. Additionally, you will independently support geospatial implementation on large programs, designing and implementing scripts to automatically configure machine environments using tools such as Puppet, Ansible, or Chef.
