Requirements

Candidates must possess a BA/BS in Marketing, Business, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field, with at least 5 years of experience as a data scientist or in a similar role developing, deploying, and monitoring large analytic datasets and machine learning models. A minimum of 2 years of experience with site/clickstream measurement, A/B testing, and various industry measurement media platforms is required, along with expertise in fundamental statistical concepts and proficiency in Python/R for modeling and SQL/Spark for data, utilizing packages such as Pandas, StatsModels, PYMC, TensorFlow, Pytorch, Spark/ML, sklearn, and numpy. The ability to manage multiple tasks and projects without compromising quality is essential. Preferred qualifications include a Master's Degree or Ph.D. in a quantitative field and experience with cloud compute platforms like Azure, particularly Databricks, as well as familiarity with advanced methods such as customer lifetime value, media mix modeling, multi-touch attribution, consumer choice, time-series forecasting, hierarchical Bayes, and panel-data methods.

Responsibilities

The Senior Data Scientist will work within the Marketing Applied Sciences team to design, develop, and deploy analytic models supporting marketing strategies, with an emphasis on inferential and prescriptive methods and experience in website, email, and media measurement. They will collaborate with teammates and stakeholders to evaluate and optimize media strategy, research and develop advanced marketing models, derive insights, and create scalable products across owned and paid channels. This role involves implementing data-driven solutions for business challenges in vehicle brand marketing, ensuring project deliverables meet business needs and timelines. Responsibilities include applying advanced data-driven modeling techniques to inform decision-making and solve complex business problems, preprocessing multisource data, and presenting complex information through data visualization. The role also requires demonstrating the ability to drive business impact using data, analytics, and insights, exhibiting curiosity, suggesting experimentation, and effectively communicating data-driven stories to diverse stakeholder levels.
