Requirements

Candidates should have experience with Python, Databricks, SQL, data modeling, refactoring codebase, cataloging/data governance, and agile development, along with preferred experience with PII data security and handling, Identity Resolution, and conforming disparate datasets. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required, as well as the ability to collaborate with data scientists, sales/marketing teams, software engineering teams, and analysts.

Responsibilities

The Senior Data Engineer will support a wide array of data sources, inbound and outbound, collaborate with vendors to build and maintain data flows, break down ambiguously defined goals into stories and sprints, lead in data modeling and pipeline development, partner with Data Analysts to determine data requirements, perform business/data analysis, determine database structural requirements, support solutions that ensure enterprise systems remain best-in-class, drive the design distribution of basic data infrastructure resources, drive the modeling of highly complex data structures, select the appropriate technology for implementing solutions, drive the analysis, documentation, and articulation of complex datasets, support the collection functional requirements using document analysis and workflow analysis, contribute to work within an established program management plan, analyze current vs. future state processes, design and select data platforms, create and implement best practices for safely and securely moving data, identify instances of non-compliance with policies and procedures, and research and suggest ways to optimize solutions.
