Requirements

Candidates must have extensive experience with the full Elasticsearch stack, including indexing and search APIs, and Kibana. Experience with SQL database technologies, preferably Postgres, and AWS or similar cloud-based infrastructure is required. Proficiency in Python and experience with the design, development, testing, and support of scalable, data-driven applications deployed to production SaaS environments are also necessary. Experience working independently and as part of an Agile team is essential. Optional but beneficial skills include experience with data in multiple languages, managing the full Elastic stack, Elastic certification, AWS certification, and experience with data science and advanced analytics.

Responsibilities

The AI/ML Data Pipeline Engineer will develop and enhance high-volume data storage and querying solutions for human experts and machine learning. They will work collaboratively in an agile environment, creating proofs-of-concept and prototypes, and designing scalable production-ready solutions. Responsibilities include considering security best practices, continuous learning, working within Agile methodologies, and participating in continuous improvement efforts. The role involves working in a fully remote team, independently identifying and solving problems, questioning assumptions, and actively participating in peer code reviews. Collaboration with application engineers, primarily in Python, is key for implementing scalable data solutions, and the engineer will create and execute manual and automated testing.
