Requirements

The ideal candidate will have experience with data stack infrastructure and tooling, including Redshift, GCP, Terraform, GitHub Actions, Debezium, Third Party APIs, Kinesis Data Firehose, DBT, Prefect, Grafana, Sigma, and QuickSight. They should be capable of tackling complex problems, learning quickly, iterating, and persisting towards solutions, and possess strong communication skills to effectively convey information to various audiences.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will lead the design and implementation of data solutions to empower engineering, operations, and business teams in leveraging data, automating processes, and monitoring issues. This role involves contributing significantly to Flock Safety's real-time analytics technical strategy and execution, supporting and developing data engineering initiatives such as ETL pipelines and API ingestion, and becoming responsible for the team's systems and processes, ensuring they are well-engineered.
