Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Bio-Medical Engineering, related field, or equivalent healthcare experience
Ability to become certified on SJMSC CRM products
Minimum of 6+ years increasingly responsible experience in the cardiac pacing and related industries
Demonstrated knowledge of cardiology, electro-physiology, or cardiac electro-physiology procedures
Familiarity with cath lab and operating room procedures and protocol
Demonstrated advanced knowledge of cardiac pacing systems
Ability to apply engineering skills to interpret and solve complex clinical problems
Comprehensive written and verbal communication, interpersonal, presentation, analytical, and organizational skills, with ability to meet deadlines
Ability to concentrate on detail and work independently
Ability to work effectively with engineers and technical staff

Responsibilities

Provide advanced engineering, sales, educational, and technical support in response to complex field inquiries from physicians, health care professionals, patients, and field sales staff involving CRM products
Perform work with a high degree of independence, using the most effective, cost-efficient, and best business practices, while evaluating their effectiveness
Exercise independent judgment in planning, organizing, and performing work; monitor performance and report status to manager
Act as a senior clinical interface between the medical community and the business
Build and sustain credible business relationships with customers and share product expertise
Identify, report, and advise on customer needs, product performance, and potential sales opportunities to sales representatives, directors, and/or management
Provide engineering, sales, education, and clinical support in response to the most complex field inquiries on an as-needed basis
Demonstrate thorough command of all CRM products, related technical knowledge, trends, and players
Develop, lead, and/or facilitate trainings and programs on CRM products for healthcare professionals
Provide insight, guidance, and feedback to management on market feedback and next-generation product components
Provide regional CRM implant case coverage and back-up support to CRM Sales Representatives in sales support, regional training seminars, clinical studies/data collection, troubleshooting, and new product in-service training
Mentor and provide leadership for less experienced Clinical Specialists
Continuously develop engineering, sales, and technical skills relative to the Arrhythmia Management strategy through learning opportunities
