Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Bio-Medical Engineering, related field, or equivalent healthcare experience
  • Ability to become certified on SJMSC CRM products
  • Minimum of 6+ years increasingly responsible experience in the cardiac pacing and related industries
  • Demonstrated knowledge of cardiology, electro-physiology, or cardiac electro-physiology procedures
  • Familiarity with cath lab and operating room procedures and protocol
  • Demonstrated advanced knowledge of cardiac pacing systems
  • Ability to apply engineering skills to interpret and solve complex clinical problems
  • Comprehensive written and verbal communication, interpersonal, presentation, analytical, and organizational skills, with ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to concentrate on detail and work independently
  • Ability to work effectively with engineers and technical staff

Responsibilities

  • Provide advanced engineering, sales, educational, and technical support in response to complex field inquiries from physicians, health care professionals, patients, and field sales staff involving CRM products
  • Perform work with a high degree of independence, using the most effective, cost-efficient, and best business practices, while evaluating their effectiveness
  • Exercise independent judgment in planning, organizing, and performing work; monitor performance and report status to manager
  • Act as a senior clinical interface between the medical community and the business
  • Build and sustain credible business relationships with customers and share product expertise
  • Identify, report, and advise on customer needs, product performance, and potential sales opportunities to sales representatives, directors, and/or management
  • Provide engineering, sales, education, and clinical support in response to the most complex field inquiries on an as-needed basis
  • Demonstrate thorough command of all CRM products, related technical knowledge, trends, and players
  • Develop, lead, and/or facilitate trainings and programs on CRM products for healthcare professionals
  • Provide insight, guidance, and feedback to management on market feedback and next-generation product components
  • Provide regional CRM implant case coverage and back-up support to CRM Sales Representatives in sales support, regional training seminars, clinical studies/data collection, troubleshooting, and new product in-service training
  • Mentor and provide leadership for less experienced Clinical Specialists
  • Continuously develop engineering, sales, and technical skills relative to the Arrhythmia Management strategy through learning opportunities
