Requirements

PhD in Clinical Psychology, Health Psychology, Behavioral Science, or a closely related field
Experience as an clinician with expertise in supporting the management of obesity, diabetes and hypertension
Understanding of how technology should be integrated with clinical workflows
Experience working with EPD teams to deliver healthcare products
Understanding of user-centered design and continuous discovery processes
Love for data and evidence-based decision making
Highly organized and excellent communicator

Responsibilities

Serve as a core member of one or more product development squads with accountability for clinical direction and outcomes
Collaborate with Clinical/CD leaders and SMEs to establish an aligned, evidence-based Clinical Point-of-View, that drives prioritization and decision-making within the squad
Advise cross-functional teams on behavioral frameworks, evidence-based strategies, and digital intervention models that drive clinically meaningful outcomes
Partner closely with EPD to embed behavioral science principles into user experiences that improve engagement, adherence, and outcomes
Review, synthesize, and apply behavioral science literature and frameworks to inform new product development and continuous program optimization
Exercise judgment to evaluate trade-offs across clinical, business, and user factors; propose creative, effective solutions to complex challenges
Lead alignment among stakeholders. Bring clinical thought leadership and strategic guidance to the squads
Representative to the broader Clinical organization for their assigned R&D squad to represent shared product decisions
Ensure all product work is grounded in evidence, meets Omada’s standards for clinical quality and safety, and reflects current standards of care
Recommend changes to clinical product processes and establish procedures that enable cross-functional teams to achieve outcomes efficiently
Use data and metrics to monitor outcomes, evaluate success, and adjust plans as needed
