Requirements

  • PhD in Clinical Psychology, Health Psychology, Behavioral Science, or a closely related field
  • Experience as an clinician with expertise in supporting the management of obesity, diabetes and hypertension
  • Understanding of how technology should be integrated with clinical workflows
  • Experience working with EPD teams to deliver healthcare products
  • Understanding of user-centered design and continuous discovery processes
  • Love for data and evidence-based decision making

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a core member of one or more product development squads with accountability for clinical direction and outcomes
  • Collaborate with Clinical/CD leaders and SMEs to establish an aligned, evidence-based Clinical Point-of-View, that drives prioritization and decision-making within the squad
  • Advise cross-functional teams on behavioral frameworks, evidence-based strategies, and digital intervention models that drive clinically meaningful outcomes
  • Partner closely with EPD to embed behavioral science principles into user experiences that improve engagement, adherence, and outcomes
  • Review, synthesize, and apply behavioral science literature and frameworks to inform new product development and continuous program optimization
  • Exercise judgment to evaluate trade-offs across clinical, business, and user factors; propose creative, effective solutions to complex challenges
  • Lead alignment among stakeholders. Bring clinical thought leadership and strategic guidance to the squads
  • Representative to the broader Clinical organization for their assigned R&D squad to represent shared product decisions
  • Ensure all product work is grounded in evidence, meets Omada’s standards for clinical quality and safety, and reflects current standards of care
  • Recommend changes to clinical product processes and establish procedures that enable cross-functional teams to achieve outcomes efficiently
  • Use data and metrics to monitor outcomes, evaluate success, and adjust plans as needed
