Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data engineering, and reporting. Required skills include at least 5 years of SQL experience, 5 years with Power BI or similar visualization tools, 2 years of SSIS or similar ETL tools, and 2 years of Python. A minimum of 1 year of experience developing automations for business processes using scripting languages is also necessary. Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications and advanced experience with big and complex data sets within large organizations are essential. Proficiency in verbal and written communication to senior and executive leadership is required. An advanced degree in a quantitative discipline is preferred.

Responsibilities

The Senior Business Intelligence Engineer will describe and utilize tools, technologies, applications, and practices for collecting, integrating, analyzing, and presenting an organization's raw data to create insightful and actionable business information. This role involves using data to identify process improvements through root cause analysis and driving a better understanding of data trends. Additionally, the engineer will help determine and maintain quality and controls methodology around data analytics and may be required to travel occasionally for training or meetings.
