Requirements

Candidates should possess 10+ years of professional experience in aerospace or defense, with a minimum of 5 years in business development, and the ability to build and execute plans with clear ownership and minimal oversight. A top security clearance, specifically an Active DoD TS clearance, is required. Experience working with business development on USG captures and supporting or leading proposals, along with demonstrated success capturing space business within the DoD/IC, is essential. Continuous learning, initiative, and emotional intelligence are also required qualifications.

Responsibilities

The Senior Business Development Manager will drive near-term and long-term growth for Muon Space in the DoD, lead customer engagement and pipeline development, provide thought leadership in strategic planning, identify new opportunities, lead capture activities, create and implement customer engagement plans, lead proposals and RFI responses, develop win themes, engage with engineering on technical solutions, develop Price to Win, write proposal content, and perform overall content review. They will also leverage Muon Space’s tools and processes to track opportunities, collaborate with other BD personnel and engineering, provide input from customers into the product technology roadmap, and work with Legal and Finance on opportunities, as well as performing all other duties as assigned.
