Requirements

Candidates should possess experience as a software engineer working on a product in production, and proven experience designing object-oriented software using languages such as C#, Java, C++, Golang, Rust, Python, or Ruby. A strong understanding of database execution engines, either as a user or builder, is preferred, along with fluency in English.

Responsibilities

The Senior Backend Software Engineer will translate functional requirements into elegant and simple designs, deliver code, and tackle complex engineering problems in distributed systems and database optimization. They will also develop proprietary technology, integrate state-of-the-art compute engines and storage layers, and address performance and scalability challenges within Pigment’s EPM platform.
