Requirements

Candidates must be located in the greater Halifax or Stellarton area and able to work onsite 3 days/week. A post-secondary degree in Marketing/Business or a related field is required, along with 2+ years of marketing, retail, or category management experience. Strong analytical skills, preferably in the CPG or Retail industry, are essential. Demonstrated ability to provide insights, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and strong client relationship management skills are necessary. Technical proficiency with strong data manipulation and Excel skills is required, with familiarity in Power BI and/or Tableau being an asset. Candidates should be accountable, results-driven, open to new ideas, and committed to ongoing learning.

Responsibilities

The Senior Analyst will cultivate value-added partnership relationships with NielsenIQ's Retailer clients, aiming to be their primary source of business insights. They will add value by understanding client needs and providing products, services, and analytical insights to help achieve business goals. This role involves working within a team, developing solid relationships internally and with the client organization, and proactively creating innovative insights that challenge the status quo. The analyst will also leverage technology as an enabler and possess a strong sales mindset with the ability to influence and build strong client relationships.
