Requirements

Candidates should possess at least 6 years of experience at an agency or in-house, with a primary expertise in business media, and a proven track record of delivering top-tier coverage. They should have a strong roster of top-tier and cross-category media contacts, an ability to lead media strategy conversations with clients, and a leading-edge knowledge of how media works today – and a point of view on the future of earned media as a tool within the communicator’s toolkit. Furthermore, candidates should have an ability to conceptualize media-worthy stories from initial ideas and brainstorms – and the ability to weigh in quickly on what is considered “mediable,” along with demonstrated excellent writing and editorial skills and the proven ability to make clear, convincing presentations to clients and senior leaders.

Responsibilities

The Senior Account Supervisor will support the development and execution of client storytelling in earned media, pitch and deliver results securing media coverage, strengthen media savviness of account teams and clients, serve as a member of Zeno’s Media Network educating colleagues across the agency on earned media best practices, and have a pulse on the daily media landscape, insider knowledge and ability to unearth media opportunities for clients. They will also conceptualize media-worthy stories, weigh in on what is considered “mediable,” and work hybrid (at least two days per week) in Zeno’s New York or Washington D.C. office.
