Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in FP&A sales or related roles, with a proven track record in account management and successful SaaS sales. Experience selling FP&A software, a strong understanding of financial processes and planning cycles, and experience working with existing customer bases to drive expansion are required. The role also demands the ability to engage and influence C-level executives, particularly within Finance, a collaborative yet hunter mentality, excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, and the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial audiences. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and strong leadership qualities are also essential.
The Senior Account Executive will develop and execute a targeted sales strategy to drive FP&A adoption across existing Unit4 ERP, ERPx, and CODA customers. They will position Unit4 FP&A as a transformative solution, tailoring messaging to customer pain points and business goals. This role involves partnering with Account Managers, FP&A specialist Solution Consultants, and Value Engineering to build joint account plans and deliver seamless customer experiences. The executive will lead high-impact conversations with CFOs, Finance Directors, and other senior stakeholders to demonstrate the strategic value of FP&A. Responsibilities also include identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities through data analysis, customer insights, and proactive outreach, owning the full sales cycle from discovery to close, ensuring accurate forecasting, and consistently achieving quota.
