Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience, along with 3-5+ years of experience in FP&A or corporate finance. Strong Excel skills and experience with financial modeling are essential, as is a deep understanding of financial statements, forecasting techniques, and SaaS/usage-based business models. Exceptional communication and presentation skills for senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders are required, alongside an analytical mindset with strong business acumen and advanced knowledge of the 3 statements and accounting concepts. The ability to work independently while communicating with team members is crucial, as is being highly data-driven with strong attention to detail and comfort in G Suite. A strong sense of urgency and the ability to manage competing priorities are necessary. Candidates must be located in the United States and authorized to work without visa sponsorship. Proficiency in SQL, experience with Salesforce, and experience building out corporate FP&A functions or working at a tech company/start-up are considered bonus points.
The FP&A Manager will lead budgeting, forecasting, and monthly variance analysis, and build and maintain dynamic financial models to support strategic planning, new initiatives, and investment cases. They will partner with functional leads to define and track KPIs and operational metrics, and develop ROI analyses for new product features, marketing initiatives, and cross-functional investments. The role involves creating financial presentations and business review materials for executive leadership and the Board, leading the preparation of monthly operating reviews and performance commentary, and supporting ad hoc business analysis and special projects as needed.
