A BA/BS degree is required along with 5+ years of field sales experience, preferably in data or cloud-related technology. Candidates should have 8+ years of experience focused on generating new business within enterprise accounts and a proven ability to independently manage, develop, and close new client relationships. Experience in achieving a quota of $1.2m+ of ARR per year and averaging 10+ face-to-face meetings per week is essential. Candidates must also demonstrate a track record of success in driving consistent activity, pipeline development, and quota achievement, along with excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
The Senior Account Executive will achieve sales quotas for allocated accounts and/or territory on a quarterly and annual basis by developing a sales strategy and regional sales plan. They will develop marketing plans with the marketing team to drive revenue growth and act as a trusted advisor to customers by understanding their IT roadmap. The role involves prospect qualification, developing new sales opportunities, managing the sales process, and ensuring ongoing account management to drive customer satisfaction and additional revenue streams.
