Requirements

  • Experience in sales, particularly in Trade & Supply Chain or Corporate sector
  • Ability to proactively identify, qualify, and close new business
  • Keen understanding of Corporate sector and strategic verticals
  • Strong network to connect with decision makers, stakeholders, influencers, and users
  • Ability to build user stories that meet client needs and shorten sales cycles
  • Clear understanding of unique value proposition of TSC data assets and ability to communicate ROI concisely
  • Skill in selling solutions by identifying customer pain points
  • Experience collaborating with Solution Engineering, Marketing, consultants, client services, product management, operations, technology, and legal
  • Ability to prepare and deliver confident in-person presentations to senior audiences (VP and C-level)
  • Understanding of solution sales cycle, competitor tactics, and ability to refine sales strategies
  • Proficiency in preparing proposals, contracts, trial agreements, NDAs, and handling billing/contractual questions
  • Willingness to travel regularly within defined territory
  • Discipline in CRM usage for accurate forecasting and deal updates
  • Strong interpersonal skills for customer satisfaction and internal communication/reporting
  • Bachelor’s degree desirable or equivalent experience
  • Self-starter, great teammate, hardworking, and dedicated

Responsibilities

  • Generate sales revenues within Trade & Supply Chain business line by identifying, qualifying, and closing new business
  • Promote and consultatively sell portfolio of products to current and target customers in North America across assigned sectors
  • Identify key decision makers and influencers within target prospects and execute sales strategy collaboratively
  • Sell across Trade & Supply Chain portfolio of data assets to achieve and exceed new business targets
  • Identify revenue drivers and metrics to increase account volume, profit, and penetration
  • Work with Solution Engineering and Marketing to identify new business and white space opportunities
  • Qualify or disqualify opportunities with strong focus on new business acquisition
  • Prepare and deliver in-person presentations to senior audiences
  • Prepare proposals, contracts, and other documentation including trial agreements and NDAs
  • Maintain effective customer relationships, handle billing and contractual questions, and prioritize customer satisfaction
  • Travel regularly within defined territory to exceed sales objectives
  • Maintain complete CRM discipline, updating all deals regularly for accurate forecasting and visibility
  • Provide ongoing feedback from clients to Sales and Product Management
  • Support sales team directly in a dynamic environment
