Requirements

  • 2 to 4 years of experience
  • Strong experience in Automation Testing
  • Competencies: Python/Java, Selenium, Cucumber, Rest Assured, Postman, JMeter, Jenkins, Load Testing, Regression Testing, Database Testing (SQL, MongoDB), Performance Testing, Manual Testing
  • Familiarity with AI-powered testing platforms (e.g., Testim, Mabl, Cursor, Copilot, ChatGPT for test case generation)
  • Experience with generative AI for test case design and automation script scaffolding (preferred)
  • Familiarity with data-driven and model-based testing approaches (preferred)
  • Exposure to observability and monitoring tools (Datadog, Grafana, ELK, OpenTelemetry) for proactive defect detection (preferred)
  • Strong debugging skills
  • Extensive experience in thorough testing of new data pipelines and complexities tailored to individual customer needs
  • Experience with Web application standards and APIs
  • Hands-on experience with API testing tools like Postman
  • Strong knowledge of the SaaS model/cloud-delivered application testing
  • Experience with Test and defect management tools
  • Experience working with latest tools and frameworks in test automation, such as Selenium, Cucumber, Katalon Studio, RestAssured/SoapUI, etc
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication
  • Self-starter and highly motivated

Responsibilities

  • Define, develop and implement test requirements for data pipelines and product features
  • Act as product and data expert with deep understanding of all user scenarios
  • Work cross-functionally with developers to gather input on test scenarios
  • Assess overall product quality and define a strategy to deliver high-quality features
  • Develop new automated tests and set up automation testing frameworks to reduce the time to release product features
  • Develop a framework to do load and stress testing of features
  • Plan, execute, monitor, and validate testing processes
  • Support manual functional testing, such as creating and executing test cases when required
  • Develop new builds and release pipelines for automation testing
  • Correct build errors and maintain formal release records to track release content
