Basic automotive system knowledge and basic part knowledge
Basic ability to source from stores, hubs, PDQ, and external suppliers
In-depth knowledge of store inventory and maintenance processes
Fleet safety certification preferred
Speak and write English (Spanish a plus); communicate effectively and build strong relationships
Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals
Use basic math accurately (add, subtract, multiply, divide with whole numbers, fractions, decimals)
Ability to work assortment of days, evenings, and weekends
2-3 years of successful sales experience in diverse retail environment preferred
Basic driving and navigation ability
Physical ability to walk/stand predominantly; talk/hear; use hands/fingers; reach; climb/balance; stoop/kneel/crouch/crawl; lift/move up to 50 lbs frequently and 100 lbs occasionally; specific vision abilities (close, distance, color, depth, focus)
Ability to work in environment with occasional outdoor weather, moving parts, heights, chemicals, electrical risk, explosives, vibration, moderate noise
Responsibilities
Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls
Achieve personal sales goals and help store achieve sales goals
Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc
Maintain store product and operational standards
Responsible for inventory processes: truck put away, shoot outs, cycle counts, back stock, etc
Store cleanliness: floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, parking lot
