Candidates should have experience working within a Managed Service Provider, telco or carrier service provider, along with strong Excel skills, supervisory experience, a keen interest in technology and conceptualizing consumption models, the ability to multitask and work under pressure, high attention to detail, commercial acumen, and aptitude for sales, including engaging teamwork and autonomous work habits. Previous inside sales experience in an IT distributor or MSP with indirect licencing support experience between MSP and a vendor is preferred, and knowledge of Microsoft licensing models, including indirect CSP programs, is highly desirable.
The Sales Support Officer will provide outstanding customer service and sales support to customers and the Tier 1 (Enterprise) sales team, managing sales calls, providing product support including recommendations, order status updates, and managing order deliverables. They will oversee and execute indirect CSP renewals, ensuring timely and accurate licensing for Microsoft products and services, and will also manage margin with existing business clients. Additionally, the role involves upselling and cross-selling licenses, assisting with Enterprise clients’ transactional queries around licensing, generating quotes, maintaining relationships with software vendors and distributors, and working with sales/technology SME’s to facilitate ongoing run-rate transactions, while participating in ongoing training and joining company events.
