  • Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of the organization's industry group, trends, directions, major issues
  • Good technical knowledge, particularly in packaged genset products for large electric power applications
  • Desire to be closely involved with high profile projects for key account customers, especially in the data center market

Responsibilities

  • Act as a liaison to Global Account Managers to better understand customer needs and provide focused support to the data center market
  • Respond to customer and dealer technical inquiries for the data center market from conceptual project phase through commissioning, including development of Design to Order (DTO) quotations for custom products
  • Consult with dealer and sales organizations on product offerings and best applications, providing project-specific technical guidance and interfacing with core engineering teams to investigate alternative solutions
  • Provide feedback to engineering and product definition teams to drive and improve future product development
  • Identify and deliver product application training, and create independent materials and white papers for frequently requested topics
  • Support the pre-production rollout of new Large Electric Power technology to global account customers
  • Provide front line technical support to dealers and sales teams with a focus on packaged genset products
