Excellent business communication, presentation, and industry-leading sales methodology skills are essential, along with proficiency in Salesforce.com, MS-Excel, MS-PowerPoint, and MS-Word. A continuous growth mindset, problem-solving aptitude, and a willingness to travel onsite to customers at least 40% of the time are also required.
The Sales Specialist will act as a trusted advisor by deeply understanding customer business challenges and proactively addressing their evolving needs. This includes developing new accounts and expanding existing ones through successful renewals, cross-selling, and up-selling D&B solutions. Responsibilities also involve mapping D&B solutions to customer needs, demonstrating subject matter expertise, contributing to account-specific strategy, and showcasing product capabilities to overcome objections. The role requires creating a customer-specific buying vision, acting as a bridge between customers and product development, maintaining accurate data in SFDC, and actively participating in account planning and business reviews.
