Responsibilities
Prospecting and running Heartland Point of Sale presentations both in person and over the phone to small and mid-sized merchants, restaurateurs, and businesses to close deals
Explaining value proposition and demonstrating cloud-based Point of Sale solution
Upselling current clients on other Heartland products and services
Maintaining regular communication with the Point of Sale District Manager
Closing sales of business solutions with merchants throughout the area
Working closely with local District Manager to set appointments with business owners via network and referral partnerships
Running scheduled appointments, uncovering needs, and presenting solutions to close sales
Prospecting new clients
Maintaining existing/prospective client records in CRM system (Atlas), including call notes, scheduled interactions, contact information, and other relevant data
Achieving minimum production requirements, including setting first time appointments, to secure quota
Continuously building and developing knowledge of current product/service portfolio and changes/developments in the financial technology industry
Attending weekly team meetings and weekly one-on-one with leader
Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed
