Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field (Master's, CPA, or CMA preferred)
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in finance, pricing, sales operations, management consulting, or corporate strategy
  • Knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis techniques
  • Experience with enterprise planning systems and tools such as Oracle, Hyperion, Salesforce, Tableau, and advanced Excel (complex functions, data manipulation, and tool building)
  • Commercial decision-making experience, and technology terminology, services, and project lifecycles
  • Prior experience in Pricing, Sales, Sales Operations, Finance, or Product Marketing
  • Excellent knowledge of Experian's range of products and services across North America preferred

Responsibilities

  • Analyze operating results, investigate variances for revenue accounts, and support P&L analysis/variance explanations for senior leadership
  • Lead monthly revenue and billing processes, including month-end close and preparation of management reports
  • Guide standardization, process efficiencies, and system automations across revenue and pricing models
  • Develop pricing tools, such as benchmarking and historical analysis, to support deal-level pricing and commercial decision-making
  • Collaborate with Sales, Contracts, Finance, and Product Marketing to create deal-level pricing, ensuring profitability and market competitiveness
  • Manage and approve a queue of pricing requests, ensuring agreement on goals and pricing integrity
  • Creatively position pricing to maximize revenues, protect average unit prices (AUPs), ensure future spend, and build market share
  • Lead ad hoc projects to prepare and report non-standard financial information as requested by senior management
  • Maintain documentation and controls for revenue and pricing processes, following service level agreements (SLAs) and performance metrics
  • Support new product development, product pricing, and product launch in collaboration with Product Marketing
  • Guide continuous improvements in reporting, data analysis, and applicable insights for commercial enablement
  • Participate in internal pricing negotiations, deal structuring, and sales efforts across multiple lines of business
