Responsibilities

  • Promote and sell Medtronic's energy-based devices and services within the assigned Mumbai region to meet or exceed sales targets
  • Develop, build, and strengthen long-term relationships with stakeholders, including distributors and healthcare professionals
  • Pursue leads, assess customer needs, and provide product services to maximize benefits from Medtronic's products/services
  • Promote and establish education on the company's products and services
  • Conduct market research on customers and competitors' activities
  • Implement market development plans/strategies and make changes as needed
  • Communicate customer feedback on new products or modifications to internal stakeholders (R&D, Operations, Marketing)
  • Establish and maintain customer relationships, develop new relationships, implement sales strategies, and close sales
  • Manage multiple small to mid-size accounts, identify new and potential customers
  • Achieve individual sales targets by selling products/services, developing/expanding accounts
  • Help set objectives or goals for individual or team accounts
  • Work on larger, moderately complex accounts or manage small/medium-sized quota/territory
  • Understand market landscape, marketing, and pricing structure; influence pricing
  • Work with sales, marketing, and finance to structure complex contracts
  • Make adjustments or recommend enhancements in sales processes to solve problems or improve effectiveness
  • Recommend changes in account tactics to achieve sales goals
  • Influence parties within own job function, communicate with external customers/vendors involving negotiation/presentations
  • Provide guidance and assistance to entry-level sales professionals and/or support employees
