Requirements

  • Fluency in Dutch and English (written and spoken); any other language is a plus
  • University degree in Animal Science, Veterinary, Engineering or Business
  • B2B sales working experience, dynamic and entrepreneurial
  • People management experience
  • Ideally in-depth knowledge of animal production with specific knowledge either species-related (poultry or swine) or in the health- or nutritional field
  • Willingness to travel 60% of your time in your territory

Responsibilities

  • Sales management of all distributors and importers in the Benelux territory
  • Managing the Sales Budget of the region, with ambition to achieve double-digit growth rates
  • Improving skills of sales teams at local partners through professional trainings and field visits at key accounts
  • Providing technical support: answering technical questions related to products and biosecurity, proposing solutions (with support of Global Animal Health Product Management)
  • Commercial guidance: follow-up on pricing, orders, together with customer service
  • Reporting to the Animal Health Sales Leader, establishing action plan and sales targets based on agreed strategies
  • Introducing new products, preparing strategic discussions on how to grow the business
  • Coaching and leading a team of eight sales associates
  • Building and maintaining strong and long-term relationships with partners in the territory
