Requirements
Fluency in Dutch and English (written and spoken); any other language is a plus
University degree in Animal Science, Veterinary, Engineering or Business
B2B sales working experience, dynamic and entrepreneurial
People management experience
Ideally in-depth knowledge of animal production with specific knowledge either species-related (poultry or swine) or in the health- or nutritional field
Willingness to travel 60% of your time in your territory
Responsibilities
Sales management of all distributors and importers in the Benelux territory
Managing the Sales Budget of the region, with ambition to achieve double-digit growth rates
Improving skills of sales teams at local partners through professional trainings and field visits at key accounts
Providing technical support: answering technical questions related to products and biosecurity, proposing solutions (with support of Global Animal Health Product Management)
Commercial guidance: follow-up on pricing, orders, together with customer service
Reporting to the Animal Health Sales Leader, establishing action plan and sales targets based on agreed strategies
Introducing new products, preparing strategic discussions on how to grow the business
Coaching and leading a team of eight sales associates
Building and maintaining strong and long-term relationships with partners in the territory
