Requirements

  • Graduate/post-graduate with 2 to 5 years of experience in business development
  • Experience in cracking sales closures primarily in the small & mid-corporate (MSME) segment
  • Good Excel hygiene is mandatory
  • Fluent in English
  • Strong experience in customer acquisition, with excellent communication and probing skills over the phone

Responsibilities

  • Drive new customer acquisition within assigned territories
  • Screen databases provided by the pre-sales team to identify relevant decision-makers (Directors, MDs, CEOs, CHROs, CFOs, Business Heads) using sources such as client websites, internet research, and LinkedIn
  • Engage potential prospects via phone, provide product briefings, and schedule periodic meetings
  • Maintain daily efficiency by making a minimum of 60–70 calls per day
  • Demonstrate ability to close sales through telephonic engagement
  • Prepare and share daily MIS reports, including call status, clients contacted, and new companies added to the database
  • Ensure calling sheets are shared with sales associates in the prescribed format
  • Submit daily reports capturing all sales activities
  • Manage the end-to-end contract lifecycle support (from order entry to dispatch, excluding document collection)
