Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Sales Engineer to join our growing team. You will be a key member of a highly collaborative group, partnering with the sales team to provide technical product expertise to potential customers. Your role will be crucial in shaping the technical first impression of our product platform by detailing our products and offering insightful assistance on how to enhance customer security postures.

Responsibilities

  • Articulate security problems to a diverse set of audiences and mediums.
  • Partner with customers to help increase their security posture.
  • Work collaboratively with Sales, Marketing, Support, and Engineering to voice customer needs.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in a fast-moving environment.
  • Be comfortable traveling up to 50% of the time and meeting face-to-face with customers.
  • Be comfortable presenting in front of groups.
  • Demonstrate strong self-starter abilities with the capacity to work independently.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Experience in an endpoint or network security space (e.g., AV, EDR, incident response, forensics, SIEM, firewall, HIPS/IDS).
  • Experience working in or with Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and/or Value-Added Resellers (VARs).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present to various external audiences, including C-level executives.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.
  • Bilingual in Dutch or another second language is preferred.
