Candidates should possess an in-depth understanding of the payments and financial technology industry, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences. They should be able to become a Subject Matter Expert on the FreedomPay platform and its solutions, and guide customers by identifying their needs and directing them toward appropriate product solutions. Furthermore, candidates must be capable of taking minutes and conducting research on potential merchant/partner environments, products, and solutions prior to technical discussions.
The Sales Engineer will lead pre-sales and technical integration calls, including point-of-sale, e-commerce, and mobile integration discussions, and contribute to responses for Requests for Information (RFI) and Requests for Proposal (RFP). They will also intake requirements for new product enhancements and professional services, present solution sales to large groups, including internal training sessions and client/partner meetings, and build, maintain, and update PowerPoint presentations to accurately reflect platform solutions. Additionally, the Sales Engineer will attend conferences and meetings as needed, create and manage partner integration/certification tickets in JIRA, and monitor partner integration status, providing updates to relevant teams.
