Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in sales reporting and analysis in Consumer Sales or a similar field
  • Strong quantitative abilities with experience in database management, data gathering, and analysis
  • Strong knowledge of spreadsheet, database, and word processing programs (Microsoft Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Word expertise required)
  • Demonstrated project management skills (a plus)
  • Excellent written business communication skills
  • Ability to support multiple remote customers

Responsibilities

  • Manage the sales incentive compensation program, including sales reporting by product brand, customer, and geography (territory, district, and region)
  • Compile and analyze sales metrics to measure sales performance and goal attainment
  • Assist sales channel managers with details, applications, and analysis of sales compensation
  • Assist in the IC review and annual planning processes
  • Critically review processes for automation opportunities
  • Monitor and maintain sales force territory alignments to ensure optimal sales coverage of the customer base and geographic efficiencies, including communicating and coordinating with alignment vendors
  • Provide support for Sales Planning and Analysis, sales channels, and internal cross-functional departments (Finance, Marketing, etc.) through report generation, analysis, and ad hoc queries
  • Track sales samples, marketing programs, and sales activities via in-house reporting tools and outside vendors
  • Support efforts to define, analyze, and recommend solutions to address sales issues based on current business processes and future business needs
