Requirements

  • MS or PhD in Material Science & Engineering fields
  • 6 to 8 years of experience in applications, product marketing, and business development in the field of Electron Microscopy (SEM, FIB, and TEM)
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated commercial sense to identify and articulate end user needs and requirements for strategic products, soliciting and integrating Voice of Customer and User Centered Innovation inputs
  • Demonstrated coordination skills to work through matrix organization in local and global settings
  • Customer-centric and keenly aware of markets, trends, and competitors
  • Organized with strong project management skills
  • Demonstrates contagious optimism and a “can do” demeanor
  • Willingness to travel 40% on a periodic basis

Responsibilities

  • Drive technical penetration activity of WDB, PFIB, and FIB projects pipeline, drive sales development projects, and handle demo progress to ensure key projects are on track and deliver target revenue growth
  • Lead and implement strategy plan to penetrate new markets, new applications, and new products for target market segments, especially Regional Fab, Service labs, and Power Semi
  • Interface with sales, marketing, application, and Nano Port teams and manage successful resolution of demo evaluation and customer support issues
  • Investigate and summarize competition product analysis to support win rate; conduct customer RFQ review to ensure no mistakes in product configuration
  • Conduct guideline sharing and replicate successful sales development models from one BU to another, including creating new workflows and differentiated value selling strategies to generate additional revenue growth for Thermo Fisher China
