Responsibilities

  • Articulate and demonstrate Sysco's value proposition to generate interest from new clients for specialized meat brands, seafood products, services, and promotions using consultative selling methods
  • Handle strategic account planning, new business development, account portfolio growth, and client retention to achieve profitable sales growth in the assigned territory (4-6 million annual sales)
  • Assess client business needs and analyze market trends to develop client-focused solutions aligned with products and services
  • Leverage technological and business resources to provide comprehensive consultative sales services
  • Perform all activities related to account management and customer service
  • Manage credit and accounts receivable
  • Increase client portfolio share and optimize sales composition
  • Rely on e-commerce for 70-100% of client order management
  • Use PMT and Deal Manager tools to support territory and market share growth
  • Oversee territory pricing management and strategy
  • Track activities and results, collaborate on opportunities, and advocate for the team selling process using DTEC (Sysco's CRM tool)
