Candidates must possess a BS/BA degree or equivalent experience, with at least 5 years of Revenue Cycle Management experience, preferably in DME supply. A minimum of 3 years of leadership or management experience is required, along with knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations, HIPAA, and accounts receivable principles. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, strong communication, organizational, negotiating, and change management skills are also essential. Home health or durable medical equipment (DME) experience is preferred.
The Revenue Cycle Manager will lead third-party collections, denial resolution, and Accounts Receivable management for Medicaid, Managed Care, Commercial Insurance, and patient accounts. This role involves establishing departmental policies and procedures for compliance, identifying and implementing payer collection enhancements, and managing the day-to-day operations of the collections and patient collection teams. Responsibilities include recruitment, performance management, coaching, developing KPIs, managing escalated issues, approving billing adjustments, analyzing claims data, and maintaining professional knowledge through education.
