Requirements

Candidates should have 5+ years of accounting experience, including 2+ years focused on revenue recognition in SaaS or technology, with hands-on experience in script-based or low-code automation. Advanced Excel skills (macros, Power Query), working knowledge of NetSuite ARM, Salesforce CPQ/CRM, and experience integrating financial systems are required. A deep understanding of ASC 606 and the ability to analyze large datasets are essential. A CPA designation or equivalent certification and experience with Python, VBA, or other scripting languages are considered advantageous.

Responsibilities

The Revenue Accounting Manager will lead automation initiatives across the revenue life cycle, quote-to-cash, ASC 606 compliance, and SaaS KPI reporting using tools like NetSuite ARM, Salesforce, and scripting languages. They will oversee and optimize the month-end close process for revenue, deferred revenue, accounts receivable, and key SaaS metrics. The role involves designing, testing, and monitoring internal controls for ASC 606 compliance, collaborating with cross-functional teams to embed automation and streamline data flows, and building dashboards for real-time revenue visibility. Additionally, they will lead and mentor a small team of accounting professionals in best practices for automation and process improvement.
