Candidates should possess previous experience in Retail, a passion for interacting with Guests of all ages, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize Guests and tasks. They should also demonstrate strong time management and organizational skills, proven success in working in a team environment, and excellent communication skills, including the ability to listen to feedback and take constructive action. Proficiency in Excel and Outlook is preferred.
The Retail Supervisor will support the Management Team by participating in the day-to-day operations of the business, ensuring that every Guest has the best Disney experience possible through consistent exceptional Guest service, development of the sales team, maintenance of visual standards, and compliance with established policies and procedures. They will serve as Leader on Duty shifts, maintaining consistency in management approach and driving sales, standards, and service to meet requirements. The role involves partnering with management colleagues in managing sales floor and back office operations, acting as Duty, Primary or Secondary Manager, strengthening others through coaching and feedback, setting and communicating sales goals, holding self and others accountable, demonstrating commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion, supporting Core Values, prioritizing teamwork and results, and taking a proactive role in maintaining Disney brand standards. They will also achieve financial and productivity goals, set priorities, manage time effectively, and consider the impact of actions on individuals, teams, and the organization.
