Candidates should possess a Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related field, along with experience in AI for cyber security, LLMs, agentic AI, generation, machine translation, summarization, topic detection & tracking, text classification, knowledge extraction/representation/management, trending topic detection, search, machine learning and deep learning. A strong publication record in top-tier venues such as IEEE, AAAI, NeurIPS, ACL, TACL, EMNLP, WWW, and others is required.
As a Research Scientist II at Dataminr, you will perform research to advance the state of the art and solve specific problems at scale, working closely with a diverse team to deliver value to customers and contribute to the research community through publications and conference participation. You will excel in placing a human-centered focus on the work, producing and shipping research into Dataminr’s products and potentially leading technical areas or people as a senior candidate.
Real-time AI for risk detection and alerts
