Research Engineer
Chainlink LabsFull Time
Junior (1 to 2 years)
Candidates should possess a background in computer science, machine learning, applied mathematics, or a related field, with demonstrated research experience in distributed ML, secure computation, federated learning, or incentive systems. The ability to write clear technical documentation and communicate complex ideas effectively is essential, with bonus points for experience in decentralized protocols, zero-knowledge proof systems, or system-level AI optimization.
The Decentralized AI Researcher will conduct original research on decentralized learning, distributed inference, and trustless collaboration in AI systems. They will contribute to the design of incentive mechanisms for open AI networks, prototype experimental systems, and communicate findings internally and externally. This role involves translating theoretical insights into practical designs with engineering collaborators and engaging with the global research community.
Energy-efficient window ACs and heat pumps
Gradient Comfort creates energy-efficient window air conditioners that also function as heat pumps, providing both cooling and heating without obstructing views. Their products use R-32 refrigerant, which is more environmentally friendly than traditional options, making them appealing to eco-conscious consumers, especially in regions with strict emissions regulations like New York. Unlike competitors, Gradient Comfort sells directly to consumers through its website, fostering a closer relationship with customers. The company's goal is to lead in clean energy innovation and support decarbonization efforts in home climate control.
