Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, along with a Master's degree preferred, and demonstrate at least 10 years of experience in market research, particularly in global brand tracking and/or brand and communication research. Strong experience in survey research scoping, design, fielding, and analysis across various methodologies is essential, as is the ability to leverage insights to support strategic initiatives. Excellent client relationship-building, client management, and project management skills are also required.
The Research Director will be responsible for owning client relationships for accounts of varying sizes, creating research strategies that integrate Morning Consult data into clients’ workflows, and building strong relationships with clients and executive stakeholders to drive growth and secure renewals. They will also manage large, complex research projects and programs, ensuring the team delivers quality data and strategic insights, and working hand-in-hand with Account Executives to pitch, price, and deliver proposals to clients. Furthermore, the Research Director will work closely with leadership to retain and expand current client engagements and ensure all client needs are exceeded.
