Responsibilities

  • Remotely sells Medtronic's products and retains end-user patients within an assigned geographic area and/or specific customer accounts to achieve or exceed assigned sales goals
  • Identifies, develops, and closes leads for the business and refers internal leads when appropriate
  • Provides input on new markets, new product introductions, and existing products or supplies
  • Promotes and establishes education of the company's products and/or services
  • Manages and responds to customer concerns and problems
  • Arranges demonstrations of products by field sales representatives
  • Assists field sales representatives in the planning and execution of sales activities and provides ongoing sales support including sales calls, data analysis, customer opportunities, and sales rep follow-up
  • Works independently with limited supervision to manage large accounts involving multiple team members
  • Secures and maintains product distributions and/or services, and maintains effective agreements
  • Builds a network of relationships
  • Achieves individual sales targets and executes sales plans by developing new accounts and/or expanding existing accounts, expanding market presence, and building strong client base
  • Drives adoption and penetration in accounts
  • Makes improvements to sales processes and tools to enhance performance
  • Recommends changes in account strategy and tactics to achieve sales goals
  • Influences internal contacts and external suppliers, customers, and/or vendors regarding policy, practices, and procedures
  • Communicates with external suppliers, customers, and/or vendors involving advanced negotiation and/or presentations to manage relationships and close sales
  • Provides guidance, coaching, and training to other sales professionals and/or support employees
  • Manages large accounts, including delegation of work and review of others' work product
