Responsibilities

  • Remotely sell Medtronic's products and retain end-user patients within an assigned geographic area and/or specific customer accounts to achieve or exceed sales goals
  • Identify, develop, and close leads for the business and refer internal leads when appropriate
  • Provide input on new markets, new product introductions, and existing products or supplies
  • Promote and establish education on the company's products and/or services
  • Manage and respond to customer concerns and problems
  • Arrange demonstrations of products by field sales representatives
  • Assist field sales representatives in planning and execution of sales activities, including sales calls, data analysis, customer opportunities, and sales rep follow-up
  • Establish and maintain customer relationships, develop new customer relationships, implement sales strategies, and close sales
  • Work to achieve individual sales targets by selling products/services, developing new accounts, and/or expanding existing accounts
  • Make adjustments or recommend enhancements in sales processes to solve problems or improve effectiveness
  • Recommend changes in account tactics to achieve sales goals
  • Communicate with external customers and/or vendors, involving negotiation and/or presentations to manage relationships and close sales
  • Work with sales, marketing, and finance to structure complex contracts
  • May provide guidance and assistance to entry-level sales professionals and/or support employees
