  • Experience representing Technical Services in quality system areas, including complaint handling, failure investigation, trend analysis, and tracking quality actions

  • Competence in developing hypotheses for root causes, generating solutions, and implementing repairs or resolutions
  • Ability to diagnose system failures using field information, perform root cause analysis, and order parts

  • Decision-making ability on deploying field service support and/or equipment
  • Knowledge to provide clinical applications/software support at point of care, assisting with questions and problems during procedures

  • Participation in technical and clinical training of new employees and continuous updates to education programs

Responsibilities

  • Answer internal and external clinical and technical questions via phone and email
  • Develop a hypothesis of the root cause of a failure, generate a working solution, and implement it for immediate repair or resolution, providing feedback to customers or Division personnel
  • Use field information to diagnose system failures, perform root cause analysis, and order parts for field services repairs
  • Resolve escalated customer issues where standard solutions fail, implementing the most effective and cost-efficient resolutions
  • Determine if and when to deploy field service support and/or equipment to customer locations
  • Provide clinical applications/software support to customers at point of care, assisting with questions and problems during procedures involving Division capital equipment
  • Record software/application anomalies and suggestions, providing feedback to appropriate software R&D groups
  • Design, develop, and implement content and materials for Technical Services training programs
  • Participate in the technical and clinical training of new employees and update education programs continuously
  • Provide technical and clinical instruction to customers and Division employees on an impromptu basis during support situations and in classroom settings
