Relationship Manager - Fitness and Wellbeing

Employment Type: Full-time Location Type: Remote Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 (average base pay range) May be considered for a discretionary bonus.


Position Overview

Xplor is seeking a strategic Relationship Manager to join our Fitness and Wellbeing vertical. This role acts as a crucial link between sales and onboarding, owning the client experience from contract signature until the onboarding kickoff call. You will be responsible for maintaining client engagement, re-engaging inactive accounts, and ensuring future customers convert into active clients. This is not an entry-level position and requires strong client instincts, operational expertise, and the ability to proactively drive process improvements.


Responsibilities

  • Own the post-signature/pre-kickoff client phase for all new clients.
  • Engage delayed or inactive accounts via calls, texts, and emails to drive progress.
  • Collaborate with the onboarding team to establish clear timelines, expectations, and ensure smooth handoffs.
  • Identify and flag risks early, implementing strategies to keep customers progressing (e.g., onboarding cohorts, webinars, content).
  • Work with marketing to develop light nurture materials, including pre-kickoff playbooks, quick wins, and reminder touchpoints.
  • Maintain clear reporting on activation risk, timelines, and deal status.
  • Undertake ad hoc projects to support sales and marketing initiatives.
  • Host webinars for international markets prior to their launch.
  • Manage the zingfit portfolio of accounts and collaborate with Account Executives (AEs) on migration strategies.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during the critical pre-onboarding phase.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in SaaS, with a strong understanding of onboarding, client management, or sales operations.
  • High emotional intelligence (EQ) and a proactive approach to client communication.
  • A proactive mindset with a drive to prevent good deals from being lost.
  • Ability to influence and lead process changes without direct authority.
  • Marketing acumen, with the ability to write effective emails and script short webinars.
  • Highly organized, sharp, and action-oriented.
