Candidates should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to build and maintain relationships with insurance carriers, excellent organizational and time management skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, a detail-oriented approach, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities, along with the requirement for travel.
The Relationship Manager will manage relationships with assigned insurance carriers, facilitate open and transparent dialogue between Simply Business and carriers, become an extension of the carrier’s team, collaborate with Insurance Product teams to negotiate expanded carrier appetite, track and report on results and optimization efforts with each carrier, report status updates of each carrier to Simply Business management, facilitate and oversee carrier compliance audits, attend all assigned carrier meetings, documenting outcomes and following through on action items, manage carrier portal access requirements, oversee carrier new product development efforts, and potentially negotiate details.
