Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, life sciences, business, or a related field, with commensurate experience. A strong understanding of payer policy, billing workflows, claims adjudication, and patient assistance programs is essential. Knowledge of CMS policies, commercial payer processes, HIPAA compliance, and experience in a field-based, commercially focused role are also required.

Responsibilities

The Reimbursement & Access Manager will serve as the primary field-facing contact for access and reimbursement inquiries, analyzing and resolving barriers with providers and payers. They will train provider staff on billing, coding, prior authorization, and coverage determination, while also acting as a regional subject matter expert on payer policies and regulations. This role involves partnering with sales, revenue cycle, and patient support teams to ensure seamless account engagement, coordinating onboarding, and utilizing data to identify trends and improve access pathways.
