Candidates must hold a professional degree in Architecture and be registered as an architect in the State of Minnesota, or have the ability to become registered within a year of employment; registration in additional states is preferred. They should possess ten to fifteen years of experience with progressive responsibilities, including prior design experience on corporate and educational/government projects. Aspirations or previous experience serving as a Project Manager, demonstrating abilities in multitasking, time management, budgeting, communication, and leadership are required. Proficiency with design applications such as Revit, AutoCAD, and Sketch-up, along with knowledge of graphics applications like Photoshop, Illustrator, and In-Design is also necessary.
As a Registered Architect, the individual will contribute to and lead design efforts for corporate/industrial projects, educational, and government projects, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. They will develop schematic designs, assist with specification preparation and edits, and prepare production documentation. Additionally, they will serve as a Project Manager, coordinating team activities, managing budgets and schedules, and developing project proposals and client presentations. The role involves maintaining client relationships, identifying industry trends, and supporting marketing efforts, all while working within a flexible arrangement with a combination of in-office and remote workdays.
