Requirements

The Account Executive should be a skilled communicator in first engagements and discovery calls, analyzing prospects’ needs to qualify an opportunity. They must be proficient in understanding and presenting the value of SailPoint solutions and how they compare to competitors like Microsoft, Okta, and Saviynt. Furthermore, the candidate should be able to lead a virtual team including partner resources, presales, and customer success, and can create a territory or opportunity plan.

Responsibilities

The Account Executive will exceed revenue quota goals on a quarterly and yearly basis, effectively address customer and partner inquiries, develop business plans, strategically engage with customers and partners, collaborate with marketing, pursue leads, lead technical resources, follow up with customers post-sale, own and oversee the sales cycle, foster a deep understanding of the territory, understand and communicate product strategies, and effectively initiate and manage discussions across all levels of a customer’s organization.
