Regional Sales Manager - Washington DC Metro Area

Position Overview:

As a Regional Sales Manager at CrowdStrike, you will be instrumental in driving new business opportunities within enterprise clients and nurturing existing client relationships. Your primary goal will be to establish CrowdStrike as the preferred supplier within your assigned accounts by successfully managing the sales cycle to meet and exceed your individual sales quota. You will collaborate with internal teams to deliver successful sales proposals, ensuring client requirements are met. We are seeking a candidate with exceptional energy, drive, and a strong desire to build business across a portfolio of accounts. The ability to quickly build effective relationships and identify immediate business value within accounts, leveraging internal resources for enhancement, is crucial. This is a field sales role based in the greater Washington DC Metro Area.

What You'll Do:

  • Pipeline Development: Work collaboratively with internal resources and independently to build a robust pipeline and achieve or surpass your individual sales quota.
  • Opportunity Identification: Identify new business opportunities while establishing, developing, and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders up to the executive level within your assigned portfolio.
  • Relationship Building: Network effectively within client organizations and influence key decision-makers, typically at the C-level.
  • Brand Advocacy: Act as a CrowdStrike ambassador within specific client accounts.
  • Value Proposition Delivery: Articulate and promote the company’s value proposition and services to become a trusted advisor to your customer base.
  • Account Planning: Develop detailed account development plans, engagement strategies, and targets for each account within your portfolio.
  • Opportunity Management: Lead virtual teams, collaborating with internal departments to drive and close opportunities.
  • Forecasting: Take ownership of opportunities and accurately forecast business objectives and outcomes.

What You'll Need:

  • Proven Sales Track Record: Demonstrated success in a similar role selling high-technology products to FTSE 250 companies.
  • Relationship Management: Ability to build and maintain relationships at multiple levels within an account, including C-level executives.
  • Security Expertise: Strong knowledge of security technology.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Value Creation: Ability to create and deliver compelling value propositions.
  • Influence: Aptitude for identifying and influencing key decision-makers.
  • Quota Achievement: Proven ability to succeed in a quota-driven, enterprise-level sales environment for a minimum of 2-4 years.
  • Industry Experience: Sales track record in the IT security industry is preferred.
  • Deal Size Capability: Capable of closing solutions and services opportunities in the range of $150k–$1m.
  • Sales Methodologies: Familiarity with formal sales training methodologies such as MEDDIC, Miller-Hieman, or TAS.
  • Business Acumen: Strong business acumen and professionalism.
  • Leadership Qualities: Possess leadership and accountability qualities.
  • CRM Experience: Salesforce.com experience is preferred.
