Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field and have at least 5 years of experience in sales engineering, with a strong background in endpoint or network security, including experience with AV, EDR, incident response, forensics, SIEM, firewall, HIPS/IDS, and understanding of Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems. Candidates should also have experience selling in to SLED (State, Local, and Government) customers and familiarity with malware, threat intelligence, and sandbox analysis. Certifications such as CEH, CISSP, OSCP, and SANS are considered a bonus, as well as experience with programming or scripting languages like PowerShell, Python, and Bash, and virtualization/VDI technologies.

Responsibilities

The Regional Sales Engineer will articulate complex security problems to various audiences, working collaboratively with Sales, Marketing, Support, and Engineering to change customer perceptions of next-generation endpoint technology. They will be responsible for presenting to a variety of external audiences, including C-level executives, and maintaining extensive contacts in the information security field. The role involves working in a fast-paced environment on multiple engagements, and may require travel as needed, with a focus on helping organizations stop breaches using CrowdStrike’s platform.
