Responsibilities

The Regional Account Manager is responsible for representing PTC’s products to medical professionals specializing in neurological diseases and/or Friedreich’s Ataxia (FA) within their assigned region, handling all operational aspects of pharmaceutical sales and services, including generating sales, communicating product benefits, building relationships, educating healthcare staff, and identifying new opportunities for commercial and scientific growth. They will collaborate within a matrix environment with internal departments and external resources, support adherence to regulatory requirements and company SOPs, achieve assigned sales targets, implement marketing strategies, develop business partnerships with physicians and healthcare staff, identify key treatment centers, cultivate relationships with patient and disease-focused advocacy groups, employ a consultative sales approach, address product access issues, and perform additional tasks as needed.
