Requirements

  • Role: Medical Director/Clinical Trial Physician (FSP)
  • Location: United States (Eastern or Central Time Zone preferred)
  • Work Arrangement: Fully Remote (with potential for 10-20% international travel)

Responsibilities

  • Provides clear medical leadership to study teams, ensuring reliable, high-quality study data within time and budget.
  • Creates clinical trial protocols incorporating the latest scientific information.
  • Contributes to site selection processes.
  • Reviews and approves study protocols and amendments, Clinical Study Reports (CSRs), Informed Consent Forms (ICFs), Case Report Forms (CRFs), and protocol deviation decisions.
  • Monitors clinical studies in real-time, ensuring medical validity of primary endpoints and subject safety.
  • Proactively identifies and corrects issues in consultation with the Global Medical Indication Lead.
  • Interprets clinical trial data for regulatory documents (e.g., CSR, INDs, Annual Reports, NDAs, MAAs, etc.).
  • Serves as a medical point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including investigators, IRBs, and Health Authorities.
  • Provides medical training to site staff at Investigator meetings and CRA training in new indications.
  • Ensures study compliance for all medical aspects by understanding and applying all relevant SOPs and GCP.
  • Collaborates closely with cross-functional teams.
